Prologue:
A Home with Heart
Meet an active family of five whose home had always been full of memories—but not enough space. While they explored homes in surrounding towns, their hearts remained with the home they knew and loved. The decision was made: keep the bones, but reimagine the interior to meet the evolving needs of their family.
Chapter One:
From Vision to Plan
We started by evaluating the existing spaces to see what could stay and what needed reimagining. Every room was carefully considered: where would the family gather? Where could the girls have privacy? How could we create flow between spaces for both everyday life and entertaining?
We laid out the foundation—literally and figuratively—for a home that meets the family’s evolving needs. Concept sketches, moodboards, and design plans were developed to capture the style, functionality, and energy the family wanted to bring to life.
Key Goals:
Maximize living space while keeping the structure they loved
Maintain a sense of warmth and approachability
Balance style with practicality for an active family
Chapter Two:
Designing for Life
As the design unfolded, we focused on creating spaces that could handle the energy of three teenage daughters and their many friends while still feeling inviting and serene. The calming blue-and-white color palette sets a peaceful foundation, while lively green accents bring energy and personality to every corner.
We blended custom and retail pieces to create a home that feels thoughtfully curated but also practical:
Splurge: A custom rug anchors the living room, adding texture, warmth, and a sense of luxury.
Save: Retail lounge chairs provide comfortable seating for family and guests, proving style doesn’t have to come at a high cost.
Chapter Three:
The Transformation Unfolds
After months of planning, decision-making, and careful execution, the home was transformed into a space that reflects both the family’s style and their way of living. Each room balances beauty, comfort, and functionality, creating spaces that are ready for everything from quiet mornings to lively gatherings.
The calming blue-and-white palette flows seamlessly from room to room, while lively green accents add energy and personality. Custom pieces, like the living room rug, anchor key spaces, while practical retail furnishings ensure the home feels approachable and livable.
Every detail tells a story: textured fabrics that invite touch, layered patterns that spark conversation, and layouts that accommodate family life without compromise. The design creates a welcoming atmosphere—“come in, sit down, and stay awhile”—where style meets real life.
